In days gone by the clothesline and washtub were essential tools of everyday life and wash day was usually a day-long event. Today, many of us have never seen a washtub or clothes line, nor do we know the fresh scent of sun-dried sheets. I do. My mom still, sometimes prefers to take her sheets out of the washing machine and hang them on the line outside. Love you, Mom.
