A person in my everyday life is gone. I am a widow now. I do not know how to proceed. Creating art eludes me at present. But, I am grateful for Fine Art America and all the artists who continue to share their creativity. You all give me hope that my creative spirit will again emerge, perhaps, most likely, changed. Changed is ok.

Steven, thank you for your most encouraging comments.

Wendy, I don't mind a Tweet at all! The more Tweets the better! lol. I found this in one of the oldest "places of rest" in Sequim, WA. Much of the detail is left off for privacy and perhaps infringement purposes, but I do find memorial stones so nostalgic and, yes, as you say, poignant. Thank you so much for commenting and sharing!

P.S. Hope you don't mind that I Tweeted this enigmatic work.

Beautiful, Marie. This is a very poignant image. One can only imagine the possible drama, joy or sadness behind this simple inscription. Where on earth did you find it?

Jose, thank you for featuring this one! I appreciate you!
